Mr.
Again,
please forward Mark Holmes’ missive as well as this email which my Client-Partner Wife
Marie Dion sent to the Del Mar Little League yesterday to Judge Hendrix.
Suffice
to say Coach Holmes’ communiqué to Marie which came less than an hour
after she sent it last night speaks for itself not to forget, however, Coach
Holmes’ deafening silences in failing to respond to Marie’s email
to him of Friday April 30th some 5 months ago that also continues to
speak volumes.
We
also got “wind” that there is in fact in “black and
white” another email address your client Dr.
JBS aka The Sperm Donor hands
out which is just one of a myriad of things which flies in the face of the
utter nonsense he has been dishing out to his 2 biological kids we know of, his
bullshit were it not so incredibly disheartening to the children would make for
terrific comedy.
Tragic
is the fact that there are a number of good people wanting to help out young
kids who simply choose to sit on the sidelines so as to avoid conflict rather
than have to deal with the likes of The Sperm Donor
and Mr. Mark Holmes their passive aggressiveness every so often
exploding in front of our eyes, agree?
Foolish
to forget The Sperm Donor was one of our
JoNathan’s assistant baseball coaches who sat by as Coach-M
Naturally,
Marie could have responded to Mark Holmes with simply his own pitiful words
that had our JoNathan keeping his hard hat on while this poorly bred
testosterone clad male continued to hammer away, but my amazing partner so
careful in her dress as well as with her words wouldn’t be wasteful with
words that fall on deaf ears, bearing in mind my agenda is empower the kids all
over the world to parent the parents who need the most help, so help me G-D.
Marie
tho, still, at this moment in time, feels the need to try for the sake of the
children to impart a value system on their sperm donor who incredibly remains
not just on the street but gainfully employed making a bunch of money in a very
crooked business I happen to know blind, there was, however, no forcing Marie
Dion who has quite the incredible independent mind to after emailing Coach
Holmes back on April 30th to send JoNathan’s Sperm Donor 7 minutes later the following, [later
I added the hyperlinks].

John,
I know what a good coach is and so should you, i.e.
it is not any different than being a good parent.

I implore law enforcement officials, family and friends as well as my ever

I'm sorry you feel that way. My intentions where only
to provide guidance and instruction. If you feel your son would be better
served playing ball on another team then please, by all means have Jonathan go
play baseball on another team. I'm finding it really hard to
understand that a child who was such an intricate part of the team, a starting
pitcher, position infielder and batting as a top 5 hitter on the
team had such a difficult season. I wish nothing but the best for
Jonathan in the future in any and all endeavors you so carefully choose for
him. In advance I apologize to both you and Jonathan if you feel my
method of motivation was inappropriate. I have been coaching youth sports, both
boys and girls, for over 10 years and have NEVER been removed or ejected from a
game for inappropriate behavior. My coaching style may not be one you are
accustomed to and I can appreciate that. However, I
take my position as role model/mentor VERY SERIOUSLY and I would
never intentional act as a poor role model. In addition, I have always had
an open line of communication between parents sending out countless emails during
the season asking for parental support in the way of helping out with
coaching or feedback in there childs development and role on the team. I never
heard from you. I stayed after every practice with ANY player who
felt they struggled or just wanted extra help during the season and to
help them take extra hitting, fielding, pitching etc. You never asked. You
never took the time to talk with me before, during or after a game the
entire season, yet Jonathan played on my team for 2 years.
I never intended to insult, degrade or come across as a
"sexist" as you put it. I attempted to motivate them and
elevate their skills and game to the next level.
Best of luck in the future.
Respectfully,
Mark Holmes

Subject: Poor role model
Attention:
John Patek, Player Agent –
Mr. Patek;
Below is the email I sent
coach Mark Holmes during the last baseball season.
Wan recommended that I send a
letter to the league regarding this coach’s ongoing bad behavior.
Coach Holmes continued to
lose his temper not just with the children but with the empires on and off the
field of play.
Please do not come back to me
with, “We have talked to him about his behavior, blah blah”
since my understanding is that this has already been tried and failed.
Furthermore, seeing the coach
being sexist calling the boys by girls names despite the boys thinking it funny
perhaps even initiating this “play acting” it is in my view
degrading to women and should have been discouraged.
This is a conditioning that
has been going on for far too long to be treated with a simple slap on the
wrist.
Both my children now age 12
and 15 (girl) have been in team sports since age 5 and this is by far the worst
coaching I have witnessed.
I won’t let my son be
influenced by such a poor role model and want Jonathan to be placed on a
different team
Sincerely,
Marie Dion [Gevisser]

Attention: Mr. Mark Holmes - M
Dear Mr. Holmes,
In my view coaching is all about empowering the kids
to think on their own two feet, giving them enough knowledge to make the right
decisions.
A successful team needs to be united and kept united
all the way through the weakest link. It should be the coaching staff’s
job to help build that solid base.
Dismissing the mistakes of the stronger members of the
team while pointing a finger at weaker members only serves to break that unity
and the team’s fighting spirit.
Additionally, we
shouldn’t sit idly by as someone so trusted puts down a youngster going
through “growing pains” learning the skills of life.
I will not watch quietly as
my son who you keep calling John makes a detour to avoid your reprimand clearly
intimidated by your remark, “I have nothing to say to you!”
and maybe dreading what was coming next JoNathan decided to continue wearing
his baseball helmet through your post game speech so as to protect his head
from your blows.
Teamwork should be fun and empowering and although
this is recreational and neither you nor the assistant coaches are being paid
for your services, good judgment should be exercised in words and actions.
This is not the first time I
notice overreaction on your part or hear comments that I consider inappropriate
for an eleven year old such as “Coming in second place is like kissing
your sister and you don’t want to do that!”
Good communication skills are
needed in order to get a positive response when pointing out the negatives.
Even more emotional maturity required when dealing with a young audience.
Losing one’s temper
only shows a lack of emotional control that interferes with the task of
coaching.
Kids are impressionable,
credibility is key to winning the hearts, minds and souls of our youth who are
all our futures.
I will encourage JoNathan to
see out the remainder of the season but my goal is to find him another team to
play on next year.
Good coaches like good
teachers like good parents will imprint you for life.
