to be suffering quite horribly in his left eye after he came across one of
these rare and endangered species the night before last and was pawing away at
one, all we could see, I was with our friend Brad,
was the blood on the toad’s back, my thinking is that it may have transferred
to Pypeetoe’s left foot that may have been irritated because of an open scratch
caused when chasing after rabbits in the thick bush here deep in the Cleveland
National Forest which then got transferred to his eyes when trying to rid the
poison using his face or the alternative thought is that there was no
irritation whatsoever but when he picked up on what I was typing in an effort
to signal to me that I should tread more carefully as he went about using both
of his front paws to cover his entire head he ended transferring the poison
into his eye.
Right
now he is snuggled in a very thick comforter continuing to lick his left paw
which I have washed thoroughly bearing in mind I have been told exactly what to
do by both Brad who has already told me after he did
his checking up that there is nothing to worry about as well as my very smart
wife who is now thinking that I am getting increasingly desperate to have
Pypeetoe join us on this trip to China.
