after having run it by my father who seems to be getting fitter by the minute
his questioning me, however, on how Mr. Kray would
know about my uncle David Gevisser not preventing me from doing the right thing

the way my Dad despite being quite the world traveler was not quite aware of

the CWF plan/overview could do with some refining particularly in defining
certain words like “institution” that not every single literate

a paradigm shift in both the design and execution that will become the standard

I am not worried with the financials. I really do not care about the money. You know, with, or without cash, I try to do the right thing. UV disinfection is growing rapidly as the Disinfection BY Products Rule II and the Long Term Enhanced Surface Water Treatment II regulations coming down the pike from the EPA will mandate that all publicly owned treatment works with significant Total Organic Carbon levels will need to adjust their treatment regimens in order to kill off Giardia & Crytosporidium while not creating significant (carcinogenic) disinfection by products. The thought was that Chloramination would solve a lot of these issues; but it apparently is turning out that that technique is releasing another set of toxins, and, sometime allowing lead to enter distribution systems(as Dc recently experienced). UV is so hot, we just purchased a one of the leading firms, Trojan.
UV, Ozone (very good; but expensive to generate) and mixed oxidants are the current toolsets expected to come into play in place of traditional chlorine. Today they have less than 10% of the disinfection market.
If lasers can not only disrupt the
reproduction of the nasties as UV does; but kill
everything harmful, and can be made cost effectively, there is a huge

Agree that capturing a large market share would, indeed, be of Microsoft proportions! However, consider taking a different perspective on this business plan.
One of the major points of the Clean Water Fund, that requires our tech guru, is that we act as a match maker of "appropriate technology" to the right circumstance. As such, IF they do have a good idea, then this could be part of the tech portfolio! I am not against the idea of our "tech guru" finding great technologies that, for the right deal and with the right people, involves investing in the technology that will help achieve the objectives of Clean Water Fund. If Devin is right that this is the way to generate clean water in a cost effective manner, we should jump on this. In fact, a tech platform as part of the fund would be complementary to the purposes of our fund.
