Larry – Just a moment ago I completed my mid week status phone call with Amos P. Wright who you will surely recall was not one prone to mince words, cutting right to the chase, “Have u heard back from Eliot Spitzer?”, Amos who is going on 88 years of age, having written his own obituary this past May, still incredibly so on top of his game asking me the second all important question,
“Can Larry explain, his clients I assume remain the independent insurance agents, what over the past 2 years is so different?”
As the senior Vice President of Insurance Marketing Services Inc., [IMS] Amos provided me when still in my 20s with steel courage to maneuver my way around the other top executives of IMS hell bent on milking the cash cow until the final drop not in the least bit surprised that even someone as fearless as Attorney General Spitzer might today after I briefed Mr. Whitman Knapp an assistant United States Attorney in such detail a week ago this past Monday realizes that he has bitten off more than he can chew, agree?
The deafening silence of Ron Bellows Senior, a senior Risk Management specialist at the $280 billion criminal megalopoly of AIG-Marsh & McLennan-ACE Ltd, along with his pitiful mouthpieces not lost for a moment on this former U.S. Marine and Navy Officer during WWII, Amos’, “Your ‘Yes Men’ will kill you” and “In arbitration do you fight or give in?” very telling of a no nonsense man who joined IMS after having retired twice before, once after working for Spur Oil, his boss, Mr. Mason Houghland the only man to have beaten John D. Rockefeller of Standard Oil without government assistance.
U should have picked up from my recent emails the essence of why not only every single solvent independent insurance agent who represents the essence of the hardworking innovative and competitive American should attend this one of a kind seminar that we consider streaming live over The Internet but to have their banker, doctor and priest-rabbi-mullah by their side willing I guarantee u by the end to get out there, assuming they have an ounce of conscience remaining and spread the word of how important it is that we all band together after giving thanks to an almighty SMART G-D for blessing the world with someone as well balanced as George W. Larry, in all the time we worked together at IMS never would u have heard either the word G-d or anything political coming out of my big mouth that most would agree only opened when I was invited to make a suggestion or when reading a senior executive including the founder, George Nordhaus, the “riot act” given how focused I was always on the “bottom line”, number the essence of all things, good or evil – the instant one brings emotion into the equation one begins to lose one’s objectivity, agree?
Today tho, I am capable of playing it “both ways” able to take on those who camouflage their bs in religious ornamentation as well as those who consider themselves so godly having worked out how easy it is to get the masses to tow the line, greed-jealousy quite the motivating force, not to forget Amos imploring me to join up with another former executive of IMS, LJ, who he believes has established his own network, agree?

Once the independent agent comes to terms with the full extent of the refreshing complaint filed by Attorney General of New York that the collusion so clearly spelled out at the highest levels between the largest brokerage firm in the world and the largest so called independent carrier well aware that I am bringing public international attention to such a very very very important issue that goes to the heart of the importance of “fair trade” a far cry from “free trade” and why laws such as our Anti-Trust laws which amount to the same thing as the Anti-Monopolies Act in countries like South Africa, they will immediately recognize that in no time at all the entire literate world will come to grips that the likelihood of only Marsh & McLennan colluding to “fix prices” with AIG [American International Group] is simply the tip of the iceberg to mention little of what exactly is meant by an Independent Insurance Agent tasked with “shopping around” for “proper and adequate” insurance coverage when there r but a handful of insurance carriers remaining the consolidation taking place over the past 24 nothing short of breathtaking, to mention in passing what the average Joe Blow getting increasingly up to speed will soon feel about their independent insurance agent selling them at best a false sense of security, agree?
