intermediary between Oppenheimer and American concerns in a number of deals”
IT IS not only the likes of Democrat Senator Ted Kennedy, former Democrat President Lyndon Johnson and Democrat Vice President Humphrey who
have been compensated by their DAAC
masters with “diamond currency”.
Remember, it
is necessary to be in compliance with the “definition of currency” that the “legal
authority” issuing the “currency” make a “strong
enough case” that their currency is Fungible, a word which according to
Dictionary.com “comes from
Medieval Latin fungibilis, from Latin fungi (vice), "to
perform (in place of)."
When I met
with a future official of the International Monetary Fund
this June 20th while visiting the Simatai Great Wall, a few hours
drive from our hotel in Beijing, it was quite easy to read the delight written
all over not only Mr. Straus Esq.’s face but that of his female companion who
seemed to glow in Mr. Straus’ self-assuredness almost to the point that her
very erect nipples began to distract from her rather bad sunburn as this
lawyer, who received his lawyer education at Stanford Law School where
apparently he didn’t do all that great in my pal Joe Grundfest’s Securities class but nevertheless not
only passed at least one pitiful State Bar Exam before going on to practice law
in Paris, France, dug deep in to his “knowledge
base” and vomited forth,
“diamonds fail the fungible test.”
Mr. Straus’
father I believe is Jewish but I daresay whatever little Judaism was imparted
to his son was insufficient to overcome me first pointing out the fact that
DeBeers have today the most extraordinary “footprint” on a piece of real estate
located on the corner of Brighton Way and Rodeo Drive in Beverly
Hills, California, USA, that a good number would argue rather well is up there
with the most valuable real estate in the entire world although you might have
at one time argued that the White House has never been “auctioned”.
Then when I
landed the following left,

I think you
