Hey Gary,

I appologize for not replying sooner, there is only one computer with internet and many people that want to use it.

I am not sure what to make of the “E-mail” [sic], not that it wouldn't be clear to Mr. Ashworth but to someone that is ‘just tuning in’ I don't know that I got the full point of the email. What I got from this email, and what was obvious was that Mr Ashworth is a lawyer friend and that you wanted to meet with him to discuss the T-Shirt venture.

You want me to be critical but in order for me to tell you if I thought you were successfull with this email, I need to know more of what your goal was. I can say that I thought your email was a little 'soap boxish' at the end (incase this is an American term, it means to be preachy). I should also say that sometimes when I read your emails I get the sense that you aren't always addressing anyone in particular, almost as if you are giving your thoughts to whom ever reads. I know that is the point most of the time but that's what leaves the reader with the impression that you are preaching more than trying to initiate a conversation or response.

I think you would be much more successfull at getting responses if the emails were more focussed. For example if you email the same people everytime, than you are repeating stuff. You know human nature and for the most part even the nicest person in the world is still gonna be motivated for selfish reasons (ie that even if that motivations stems from childhood and not getting enough positive feedback and attention; that need to do good and help people is still serving a selfish need for possitive attention.) With that said, the people that are going to read your emails and follow the links are doing so for selfish reasons whether it be Stewart's lawyers look for ammunition or people looking for financail gain. I would just try to use people's sefishness to your advantage rather than try to fight human nature with threats of moral reprocusions. I think we both know that people will try to do what ever they can as long as they think they can get away with it, moral or not...

I don't know if this was what you were hoping for...

I have to go … hunt
