you aren't allowed to backtrack - have to keep going in the same direction. They charge a supplement for going to far away from the middle, so South Africa for example is an extra charge. If you start east, then Tahiti is your first stop. When you discuss, have a globe or world map out, so you can visualize the route. Side trips are fine - extra cost but not much.

I would like to see pricing on both business and first class. Right now I am thinking Tokyo – Hong Kong – Shanghai – Beijing – Bangkok – possibly Tahiti – south africa – Rome – Valencia Spain – London – New York – Quebec city -

I will know better after Sunday.

Signing off for the night – handing over the “reigns” [sic] to folks in other parts of the world.

can't price it until I know your basic route. Which cities you want to include. Coach, business, or first class?

All we want is the pricing on 2 round the world tickets leaving in April. Exactly when I don’t know. Marie and I are getting together on Sunday to “map things out” as we would be going for about 6 weeks.

getting down to the concrete world: What exactly do you want?

1. round the world tickets? If so, I need your departure date, and which cities you want to go to, with tentative dates. (dates can be changed, but I need the order of cities, with approximate dates.)

2. leaving now (Dec 26) for Asia? What do you want to do?

3. I still need to charge the fee in order to begin.

seems to me, a 2 week Asia trip now, vs a round the world trip including Spain, are 2 different things.

My first thoughts were “Last minute”, instead of doing February lets stick to December which is what I actually had in mind.

Then I got inundated with emails following this broadcasted email, a good number of people thinking that I should in not so many words, “stick around here a little longer  -  help us Americans transition easier in to the real world where our slave laborers in the 3rd world are a whole lot smarter and organized than our forefathers were in Egypt..” causing me to consult with my wife who suggested we buy 2 round the world tickets and leave in the spring, “also go to Spain” and see her art professor Sebastian Capella.

The only thing I can see now doing is securing the tickets and buying Yaun travelers checks today, what do you think?

for a last minute holiday booking, I have to charge a $200 planning fee. (need credit card and billing address to process.)

Have you been to any of these cities before?

Beijing is freezing cold this time of year, but I do love it.

Do you really want Tokyo/Kyoto as well?

What about sticking with China, and going to Hong Kong, ShiangHai, and Beijing? That makes sense, with the flights.

Shiang Hai is fabulous - an amazing mix of old and new.

Or, you could go to Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Kyoto.

It's a lot of moving to do them all.

Is your departure city San Diego? If so, you have to fly to LAX to catch the flight to Asia.

Do you want business class?

What kind of budget do you have in mind?

I need both names as they appear on your passports.

Let me know what you have in mind so I can get started.

1. There are 2. My wife and I.

2. 2 weeks starting Febuary 26th.

3. 3 places unless you can suggest it makes sense at this late hour to buy a round the world trip and visit places like South Africa and Australia and in the process drive my wife stark raving nuts although she might be up for it – the 3 places 1) Tokyo-Kyoto, 2) Hong Kong 3) Beijing. I want to be in Hong Kong on New Years eve.

4. I-we want to have fun.
