Dear
Teri,
I was
just about to respond to Louis
who should need no introduction.
After
first reading his second-to-last email which I have yet to respond to my plan
was take Louis who you should also know is 71 years of age on the most
extraordinary educational light journey of his life which I still might do but
when reading his last email I am thinking that he is in the middle of the worst
MENopause in which case he is highly unlikely to ever again find his mind which
leads to me conclude that I am “duty bound” to ratchet up my
response several notches.
Please
try and rephrase your first sentence made up of 16 words and when you have
completed this homework assignment email it back to along with the email of
mine that you reference.
In the
interim I am going to give thanks to G-d while I prepare myself a delicious home
cooked dinner here at our stone home after spending a good hour with a
veterinarian probably my age and a younger gentleman from UC Davis who are
camping out this rather cold night in their vehicles hoping to trap one
previously tagged mountain lion who killed earlier today a rather large size
deer-buck, half the buck in the back of the one pickup truck and the rest
split, although not necessarily equally, between the lion's stomach and what
these two fine gentlemen left in the trap.
Not to
mention the veterinarian agreed with his very articulate and astute colleague
that right where we have our stone home is considered in the
"exceptional" category for mountain lions.
To
mention little of the vet coming across the kill very soon after it happened
and was able because of the transmitting pulse to know that he was being
circled while noticing that the lion had only got to the liver, yet to eat the
heart and as you would know beasts such as lions eat their kill from the
"inside out".
While I
am "armed with knowledge" much more than I ever dreamed
possible in my worst nightmare and still ill-equipped to protect myself but
certainly better equipped to protect much better both our dogs there is a part
of me that has "died" for I will never again be able to enjoy
watching in particular Pypeetoe disappear for what at times seems minutes when
in fact I know it is rarely over 30 seconds before he comes racing back huffing
and puffing as if he had seen a mountain lion who wouldn’t “go lightly” after
pouncing on poor, poor, Pypeetoe whose heart I know will give out before he
feels any pain.
Freedom
of movement is something very foreign to Lily White Wheaty Eating Americans but
there are tens of millions of South Africans who can still remember very well
the Apartheid Regime's insane Pass Laws, laws that were instituted only
because the country with the biggest guns whose only foreign policy for the
past 100+ years remains “Regime Change”.
You
should also right now give thanks to G-d that I have no plans to move back to
South Africa or anywhere else for that matter because if I did I would be in a
much better position to have our slaves in places like South Africa, Peru,
Zambia, China and the such exact a price on Americans but only those who
contributions to the overall betterment of humankind amount to either nothing
or less than nothing.
And of
course it should be quite obvious that while I am saner than anyone you have
ever met I have absolutely no fear.
I am in
the 29th year of living in the United States and I can count on no more than 2
hands those who I know for a fact have overall contributed positively to the
betterment of humankind and such individuals must as logic would dictate
include my prior long time girlfriend whose maternal ancestors come from the
island of Samos, very close to my heart, my wife whose 1/32nd Huron
Indian blood has me constantly thinking, “Blood is as thick as experience”
and her professor of professors
Nor have
I lived in a cocoon.

Dear Gary,
I have taken your advice as you can see by the email you
forwarded to
me. I have let the
European patent that I will most likely not use be
abandoned. It
turns out that I have been charged an additional $16,000
in the past two years to keep it going. They are now charging me $500
to tell the European office to abandon the patent. They still want
$2000. I think it
best to get the schedule of payments needed to
continue my
the patent office any more money. I wondered what you thought about this?
I do appreciate receiving your most lively emails, and
hope that someday
soon I can visit with you and Marie again. You are a most interesting
person as is Marie and you seem immersed in the middle of
the Diamond
Invention. I find
your emails intriguing. Thanks for
including me.
I hope that you and Marie and Jonathan and
With best wishes,
Teri
