Dear Ms. Carrillo,

This email is in follow up to our conversation earlier. I would like if it is at all possible for the sellers to grant me an extension until November 7th to close this transaction. If in fact they could go beyond that date say until December 1st  that would be terrific. December 1st happens to be the anniversary of the death of David Ben Gurion who passed away on this date back in 1973. I happened to be fortunate to have met this man who believed that the “children of Israel should be a light unto the nations” 13 months earlier to the day. As I mentioned the problems of the world, in my opinion, have nothing to do with race, color, economics or religion, simply poor parental religious teaching to mention in passing the problem of the sexes and ex’s to boot.

My delay in closing is in large measure the result of having to focus on other business activities including the launch of my websites whose mission statement speaks for itself. It is still possible that I might be able to close on the 21st. In consideration of any extension granted by the sellers I would be willing to help them in the purchase of their new home by co-signing on their mortgage. All I would ask is to be able to have my attorneys review the documentation.

Please would you share this email with my broker Louise. Both of you have acted very professionally in trying to handle matters. I am not, however, the easiest person in the world to deal with and more importantly I am simply not used to having “middlemen” involved although both of you are head and shoulders above most men I have dealt with.

Thank you for your consideration.
