My partner is resting up, our JoNathan's baseball game today while confirming her worst fears, general manager-coach Holmes making himself a spectacle once again in the opening inning of the baseball game going well beyond suggesting to the umpire that he needs spectacles coming as close as I have ever seen to a fist fight, the adults supposed to lead with moral example as opposed to left and rights leaving us both war torn but very much comrades in arms, our JoNathan in relief pitching his team to a win in overtime actually provided Holmes who I don’t believe is related to the porn star Holmes with some measure of anything but comic relief.

Holmes’ bullying style, not to suggest that this out of control Holmes character is related to heavyweight boxer Larry Holmes, had in fact rubbed off on to our JoNathan, although when Marie later explained to JoNathan about this program she had seen where this crowd of kids had rallied behind a bully possibly thinking that it was simply lucky that the bully was not on anyone else’s case, my throwing in my 2 pennies worth, "no such thing as luck, you have to stand up" JoNathan cut me short with "Lets listen to Bob Marley, 'Get up stand up don’t give up the fight’" to mention in passing a former Rhodesian male of about my same age, a father of a kid on the opposing team having seen very clearly like the rest of us that Coach-Manager Holmes was so incredibly out of line incapable of mustering up any argument to support his perspective other than the fact that he was still very much in the recovery stage from Marie's knuckleball to him yesterday upon hearing the difficulty I was having in getting the book to a point where u should have no difficulty in getting me no less than a $10 million advance on Manager Minute One saw no harm in reading Marie as we left the field, us grinning from ear to ear, with the riot act, my making the point of course to hand him and others seated nearby not only a handful of Manager Minute One business cards but a glimpse of why the likes of JoNathan’s biological father is shaking in his boots should we complete the task of making our kids the best they can be, that the best athletes are the ones that can think on their own two feet who see brute force for what it is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing to defrock akin to an Emperor without clothes, up to the adults to simply assist that it should be the kids call although in baseball it is not so obvious that the athlete is thinking and why all the yelling and of course the kids don’t have all the knowledge and skill and why the need for good coaches from minute one.

In other words please take some degree of satisfaction that you are getting through to me and that I am working diligently in getting my incredible wife off her butt - see attachment.

I like this style -- more to the point -- Gary can learn something from the writing style of his partner

John,

I know what a good coach is and so should you, i.e. it is not any different than being a good parent.

The email I just sent Mark Holmes the manager of the A baseball team spells out why I don’t want him teaching my son JoNathan.

It doesn’t take a child psychologist in Family Court to tell you how coaches as much as teaches and parents build up the moral core of your child and therefore should be thoroughly dissected.

This is all about parenting.

Marie

Ps. You should be thankful and grateful that I am still communicating with you.
