Dear Eve,
Marie felt
that my email to “u” [sic] yesterday was “going overboard” especially since you
are most likely unfamiliar with my “writing style”.
My goal,
however, remains the same.
In other
words, I want the café to be operated as successfully as possible but I am NOT
expecting to receive the “lions share”.
In other
words, I would be happy with a very nominal percentage of sales, leaving it up
to you to come up with a number that I will undoubtedly negotiate DOWN.
In other
words, I don’t want you to think you are WORKING FOR ME but at the same time I
want you to feel good about “writing me check” no matter how small.
I look
forward to hearing from you spelling out your position as clearly as you did
when emailing me earlier on Friday.
Regards,

Eve, hello again to you.
Marie and I are seriously considering your proposal
which “on the surface” seems reasonable from the standpoint of renting
a 3 bedroom one of a kind home located in possibly one of the most unique spots
in all of England if not the world especially when considering there is a very real
business attached that would allow one if halfway com
In other words, please give very serious thought to
how Marie and I could be compensated were you to operate the café bearing in
mind I am in touch with several other parties including a local real estate
rental group who while not as familiar with Seacrest as are you have no doubt
access to a bigger circle of folks who could maximize the potential.
We have come down quite a path in being gracious
and have found with the exception of Valerie that each and every individual has
treated our graciousness as weakness.
Please spare me from telling me how you would be
different given how Marie and I as well as our two kids heard with our own ears
from one of our not so “lovely neighbors” how not only godly she was when
attempting rather successfully to ingratiate herself with us, using expressions
like, “cleanliness is next to godliness” but when caught up in her lies “took
to the streets” screaming at the top of her lungs, leaving nothing to the
imagination of those watching such an Oscar performance that we were the “ugly
Americans.”
Now please look at these 4 people and tell me apart from me which one is ugly?
Ducking the important issues of the day is simply
not my “style” bearing in mind that I am currently very HEAVILY involved in
rather important matters that WILL have a DRAMATIC effect on world peace-war in
the very near future, possibly before sunset today and the last thing I need is
to be distracted in “going to war” with you who may in fact turn out to be just
like Valerie but I don’t intend to take any chances.
Again, please spell out for me a proposal that
would have Marie and me feeling real good about you being motivated to make a
great success of the café, you responsible for all “repairs and maintenance”
and may I simply suggest we get in addition to the base rent a percentage of
the sales that gets paid within 3 days following month end.
I already have a pretty idea of the business that
has been done ever since we purchased Seacrest in late 2001, knowing full well
that besides for Valerie everyone else was “lying through their teeth” not only
about the café sales but the monies they made in renting out rooms.
Again, I am not only a very sophisticated
businessman but I am someone who has the “luxury of time” despite my rather
hectic schedule that leaves me with still a SIGNIFICANT amount of time to stay
in good both physical and mental health to respond accordingly if it turns out
that my graciousness gets interpreted as weakness.
Don’t be put off by my repetitiveness which is
simply designed to have you keep repeating to yourself SO THAT YOU DON’T FORGET
what an unbelievable opportunity you have before you for the next 12 months
which DOES NOT include an option to purchase.
Should you desire such an option then that is a
matter we will have to address further down the road.
I look forward to concluding these matters with you
promptly.
Ps –
