You should go to Singapore 2days, Thailand (Bangkok 2 days, ChangMai 3 days, PhiPhi Islands 3 days), Vietnam(Saigon, Nhatrang, Danang, Hanoi), Cambodia, & Laos if you can get in. You need to analyze the gold shops in Vietnam, also visit the diamond polishing establishments set up by the Israelis. The Vietnamese are particularly good cutters as they have inate math and artistic skills. They are quite good at making something out of nothing.

I wasn’t sure whether you got this email below which I sent you back on the 15th?

 

Marie + I have decided with events in the world changing ever so rapidly instead of going to Europe to hop over to the Orient.

 

We have used miles on American Airlines to make a reservation – record locator ….

 

We would like to see what you have in mind in terms of where we should go on this 3 week + trip including hotel reservations for the 1 night stopover in Osaka, Japan.

Karen hello to you.

 

As the world changes rather rapidly so have our travel plans. Instead of doing Israel we want to spend more time in the UK and Spain.

 

First we would like to get pricing on airline tickets out of San Diego. We would prefer to travel on American Airlines because we have frequent flyer miles but if that is not possible than whatever is best including of course Virgin Atlantic.

 

Second, we would like to hear from you about places we should go to in Scotland and I think you would agree that we should rent a car both in the UK and Spain since we will be doing a lot of traveling in both places.

 

Third, there is the possibility that our 2 kids, ages 13 and 16 might join us for the UK leg but I will only know for certain later this week.

 

I believe email is the best way at least for us to get started.

Katie hello – Marie and I just decided that we only want to do Europe this summer starting anywhere between June 10th and June 15th with London our first stop.

 

We plan to be away just 6 weeks wanting to spend 3 weeks in the U.K that would include a week in Scotland where we would want to have hotel bookings.

 

Then we want to spend about a week to 10 days in Spain and then a week to 10 days in Israel and if possible to return through Athens where we would want to spend possibly a day and night.

 

Please let me know if this is something you are comfortable in handling bearing in mind that “all being well” we plan a trip in the fall to the Orient.
