The last thing I want to do is bug you but I thought we could, rather than first talk, have you begin to get your “arms around” a book that I am quite certain, assuming again that you have a shred of conscience, will have you dropping everything you are currently doing, outside of course taking care of your very basic needs.

 

To be even clearer on this point of “basic needs” – even if your employer is right this instant literally standing with a pointed gun that you are quite certain is loaded threatening to shoot you in the event you don’t meet a deadline that is minutes away I am quite certain you have already enough information to convince this crazed individual to be ever so smart and allow you to drop everything in an effort to do the right thing and the smart thing which is also the right thing, simply informing your boss that you have the story of stories that any editor-publisher can only dream of given how extraordinarily high up I was at the DAAC at the very time they were responsible for driving up the price of gold to its high point of $850 on January 21st 1980 as well as bringing about its precipitous collapse.
