Why are you folks dragging your heals in writing up the most incredibly simple lease that I am quite certain Mr. McLusky even in retirement would have produced in less than 5 minutes, not to mention I have drafted the entire lease?

While you procrastinate it costs me but possibly not as much as it may end up costing your law firm.

Let me explain.

You would know that when I first came to see Mr. McLusky I had no identification and Mr. McLusky had every reason in the world to question my “credibility”, not to mention that I had essentially purchased Seacrest “sight unseen” at around 10 PM on a cold late December night, not even aware possibly because of the noise from my teeth chattering that there was in fact a café attached to the 3 bedroom house which I was buying as a retirement home for my wife and I.

But that was going on 5 odd years ago and few would argue that you folks don’t have a single client as either transparent or credible as me.

Moreover, I guarantee you that you don’t have a single client who because of both my transparency and credibility is not only willing but very capable of bringing Public International Attention to why apart from me being able to bring Public International Attention to my “social causes” would you be so dragging your heals.

Time is of the essence.

I passed copies of all your emails to one of the partners in this firm, James Sunderland.  As I had not heard further from either James Sunderland or yourself, I believed that you were both in direct contact, or that you had dealt with the final version of the Lease yourself and had this signed.

I will send a message to Mr Sunderland and ask him to make contact with you.

I am quite surprised you haven’t responded to my email to at least let me know that you have found an attorney in your office willing to commit what would be a small amount of time given all the work I have already done to drafting a formal lease.

Why couldn’t you just take a “cleaned up” version of my draft lease which I could provide you in no time and email it with this “notepad” format to Dave Clark, have him acknowledge it and when he drops by with the initial monies have him simply sign the email?

Thank you for your draft Lease received on 31 August.  At time of writing I still await hearing from a partner in this firm as to how and whom should deal with your matter.  To have any Lease prepared, agreed and executed within 24 hours is not within mine, nor I believe, this firms, capabilities.  You are obviously knowledgeable and capable and if the Lease is urgent would it be appropriate for you to deal with it between yourselves in the manner of the draft you have already prepared?

As soon as I have direction from a partner I will let you know.

Regards

Sue Walker
