Subject: Dateline last night

Hey Gary,

I was watching Dateline last night and the topic was sexual predators that look for underage teens in online chat rooms. It gave me an idea…

http://www.perverted-justice.com/

Perverted Justice is online detective service that helps law enforcement with policing chat rooms in the form of adults posing as underage teenagers to get the people to incriminate themselves. They setup sting operations to trick the predators into coming to meet the supposed underage teens and ultimately arrest the pedophiles.

Based upon the climate of our nation, with a strong right wing conservative and religious presence, it would be a good time to try to pass a law regarding the enforcement of laws allowing public humiliation in addition to a regular sentence as a means of punishing offenders. With political pressure, what politician wouldn’t vote for this type of justice?

If a precedence can be set allowing public humiliation as punishment, then it should open the door for similar laws to be passed for other crimes as well.

The possible self-awareness and the new found awareness of ones surroundings could result in an environment conducive to take on the DAAC. Just one more step in the direction of eroding their foundation.
