Now that was good.

Now if I promise to keep Pypeetoe out of the rest of this email when can I expect you to start writing my forthcoming book and more importantly come and take care of our computer problems. Also Marie needs you to design her sellnext.com website and we cant access her email account mdgart@sellnext.com because we cant remember the password partially because I never told her and please don’t tell me to follow the instructions and its not because I don’t take direction well. It just doesn’t work.

I see it now.

Was that directed at my comment about fixing things that I saw as problems?

Nature fights static movement, everything moves in the direction towards efficiency. I think that you would have more success if you were to focus your energy in influencing consumers into a different direction, a graduation of values, influencing priorities towards the direction of attaining the largest brain instead of the largest penis.

I have thought a lot about people and human nature and what we haven’t learned… I believe that everything moves in the direction of efficiency; with that, I believe that man has two potential paths; evolution towards appreciating and respecting life and ultimately to a level of self-policing, or we destroy ourselves. Unfortunately I can’t see how we can avoid destroying ourselves as long as random mutation exists. I think that people as individuals can express self control and discipline but in large groups we create chaos; and as atomic energy proves, it only takes one atom to start a chain reaction big enough to supply power to millions. If we apply that logic towards the overpopulation, it is no wonder things are so chaotic. I think that a Kibbutz worked because they were small enough to apply shame as a means of policing, but once a population gets to a size that anonymity can be achieved, random mutation affords the creation of someone looking to take advantage of it. This is what I meant by starting things off with “I see it now”. You started teaching me by telling me that we need to expose people and let shame police our actions… I obviously understood the concept but I didn’t arrive to it as a conclusion until now.

I am not one to bring shit without a shovel; I think that one of the strongest and most tried and proved asset of man is our ability to adapt and I know that people could adopt new values if manipulated properly. If DAAC could change 1500 years of culture in 13 years, during the “dark days” before the internet, then imagine how many people could be reached if touched through the internet… an advertising medium that is just beginning to be explored.

You had me going with your last email until you started about Pypetoe’s birthday and then you digressed.

I don’t get involved frequently because I have to limit my stress for my sanity at times, and your emails are not exactly “feel good” emails.

Cheers,

Adam
