Subject: Good faith

Toby hi – I had wood delivered the other day that got dumped next to the wood that you cut which I assume you had kindly left for us.

Even though I had given very explicit instructions to have the wood placed along with the rest of our wood on the other side of our cabin I have to take responsibility for this mistake since I only got up to the cabin once the folks had already left.

Even if the forest service are okay with the wood being there but if it bothers you in the least I will gladly move it. Just let me know.

Also, I have noticed that your outside light is constantly on at night. Is this intentional?

Hope all is well.

Gary

Ps – I still think it would be a good idea for the cabin association to show “good faith” by supporting the forest services’ call to have everyone in compliance with their regulations even though there are apparently instances where different administrations have not been “even handed.”

This is not simply a matter of “two wrongs don’t make a right” but us showing “intelligence”. In my humble but seasoned opinion there is a need to focus on one priority which surely has to be making certain “insensitive” government officials don’t team up with “opportunists” to turn this area into a real estate development which will most certainly occur if just one of us makes a big enough stink to high level government officials who in making just one settlement with an “aggrieved party” no matter how big or small although in all likelihood it will be very significant, such officials will use such dumb actions to fully rid themselves of  “babysitting us” making the decision without consulting with any of us that it is best to withhold all the permits and then sell off this area to the “highest bidder” opportunist while making the claim that they will use the proceeds to reclaim more untouched areas, bearing in mind that the “highest bid” will in all likelihood be totally rigged.
