Subject: Italy trip in the spring

John - concerning the trip to Italy with the kids in the spring, I will want to make up that week by taking a full week extra in the summer.

As far as the kids other days off during the school year I will not trade any of those days. You are welcome to take off work and split them 50/50.

Please limit your phone calls to my personal numbers for emergency purposes only. Use email and/or personal notes provided to the kids in sealed envelopes and to repeat do not step off the curb went dropping the kids at my residence.

Furthermore do not use the kids' sporting games to converse with me.

I expect a response in writing as far as your decision about the trip to Italy.
