Subject: "The world would be far better off if women were on
permanent PMS then they wouldn't put up with any of the bullshit!"
To
whom it may concern:
I
read with interest the article Sell Side Snoozed Before Spitzer's Move
penned by Allison Krampf.
More
important than the fact that I ran the largest for profit marketing-publishing company in the property and
casualty industry in the mid to late 1980s at a time when cash flow
underwriting began in earnest, the typical 6 year “hard and soft”
cycle going out the window, even more important than later in 1996-7 as CEO of
a medical device company Judge Jack B. Weinstein credited me in his decision to overturn a landmark
multi-million dollar repetitive stress injury jury award is the fact that I am
sitting once again on irrefutable “smoking gun proof”
of political corruption that like all corruption has ties to big time
international businesspeople interfering with our elections to mention little
of how on October 1st 1999 I played a pivotal role in getting a
significant shareholder class action lawsuit filed
against Revlon Corporation and its officers within moments of the statute of
limitations running out, to mention just in passing that hours before analysts
such as Melissa Grant of Warburg Dillon Reed touted the “actual good news” broadcasted by Revlon’s
CEO and when I asked Ms. Grant to explain herself she replied with the
following:
gg,
I thought that someone with our communications department had responded to you,
but it appears they did not. I am sorry that I have not answered your earlier
request, but unless you are a registered institutional investor I am precluded
from speaking with you regarding investment opinions due to SEC and NASD
regulations and compliance issues. If you are an institutional investor, please
contact your saleperson who handles your account with Warburg Dillon Read.
Thank you and again, I apologize for the delayed response from myself and our
firm.
Regards,
Melissa Grant
p.s. I was unable to open the attachments you sent in this latest e-mail.
I
then responded with,
Dear
Ms. Grant,
I can’t ask you to discredit yourself; all I ask is for you to take a
look at reality. How in the long run do you expect to keep your job and your
company expect to keep its institutional clients if you continue to ignore the
facts.
Are the rest of us to close our eyes, cover our ears and shut our mouths when
you disseminate your information on the tickertape? Are Reuters remiss for
spreading your proclamations without a warning label that non-clients should
refrain from reading same?
Your non-reply reply is great for all you analysts who are in a no-lose
situation, which leaves the rest of us in a no-win situation. In other words,
heads you win, tails we lose.
Sincerely,
gg
I
never did hear back from Ms. Grant which ties directly in with Ms.
Krampf’s point,
“Now, there are questions about why these
analysts -- still plagued by accusations they failed to alert investors quickly
enough to problems at Enron and other scandal-plagued companies in the 1990s --
were asleep at the wheel yet again.”
Once
again, and at the risk of repeating myself, there is a strong connection
between the analysts who tout “good news”, the
corporate executives who understand it is all a game that their interests as
well as the mainstream media’s best interests are not served by the poor
and downtrodden being well informed and Mr. Spitzer’s refreshing
complaint that can be understood by perhaps every single literate human being
on the planet with no more than a 7th grade education.
The
old adage of the rich getting richer and the poor the picture is fast drawing
to a close, the biggest weakness of the insurance industry, a very rigged game
governing the world’s financial markets is that the Digital Divide will
continue to grow despite the incredibly strong evidence that the population
explosion is weakening at the peripheral as the informed recognize a number of
things including the unholy alliance between corrupt governments and religious
institutions who promote “poor breeding”, agree?
Without
the poor there is no church, agree?
What
you are told you cannot have results in the likes of Bill Clinton willing to
sacrifice the “rule of law” to satisfy his uncontrollable lust for
power at any cost, the cost to American kids the result of our manufacturing
base having been handed over to the Communist Chinese at bargain basement
prices as he fiddled around in the Oval Office looking for a place other than
his ashtray to deposit his shortcomings is not altogether lost on those of us
who fully understand the fallacy of an educational system based on the Bell
Shaped Curve that has the “most average” rising to the top, the
world about to go topsy-turvy-curvy, business models based on an ever expanding
population within moments of imploding as the youth who are all our futures get
increasingly with the program realizing that “selfishness” is the
only reason a logical person can give for procreating since we are no longer in
a race with the other species for “survival of the fittest”, agree?
Unless
we get courageous media people to tell it exactly the way it is such kids may
very well follow in the path of the Shining Path folks in Peru and those
partaking in the Chinese cultural revolution who chose to chop off the heads of
even those educators who did not allow their formal education to interfere with
their learning.
Yours
truly,
Gary

Ps –
Although I have been mostly retired since the early 1990s every so often I exit
my cave
to assist those in responding to fast balls thrown at or near head in an effort
not have the space between my ears become a perfect vacuum, space, motion and
time all coming together as we prepare to celebrate the 100 anniversary of
Special-General Relativity along with the breaking of the “light speed
barrier”.
If do
not hear back within 24 hours I will be posting this communiqué on message
boards throughout The Internet that attract peoples from all over the world
getting increasingly fed up with their chains being yanked, the deafening silences
speaking volumes.

the words of my French Canadian partner-wife Marie Dion,
