Subject: Alyson and Mike Kessel: we are relocating.

Hi There,

We hope that this finds you all well and doing well.

Like yourselves we watch the news in the crazy world in the hope that this war will end as soon as possible.

We are in San Diego at present. After a lot of soul searching, and mindful of finances we have decided to make Hermanus, Cape our base for retirement and travel. We are here in San Diego until April 7th. We have

bought a small house Hermanus and feel comfortable despite all the SA issues. It is a big move but best for us. We are looking forward to being in that part of the world---wonderfully beautiful and laid-back. While finance was the main motivating factor, a benefit will be that we'll be able to see Shawn and family in Israel that much easier from there and obviously we will be happy to visit here and stay with Jonathan in San Diego. I've found a part-time position with an educational consulting group based in Cape Town , whose work I'll be able to do from Hermanus on the phone and email. After an initial period in which I'll work 'on the job' in Cape Town we'll take occupation of the house in Hermanus on May lst.

Please know, that when you visit ,there will be more than enough space for you.

And so we write to wish you well. Please do keep in touch.

Our computer will now be 'down' for the next 10 days and we will resume correspondence as soon as possible thereafter.

We will have the same email address for the time being and will inform you of any change if that occurs.
